In 1926 Josef Braun started ZMB Braun inspired by the sole idea to design and manufacture the highest quality heavy clay extrusion dies available and distribute them globally. Today, his grandson Horst Rank has led Braun to become not only the world leading producer of high quality extrusion tools, but also a highly respected engineering and solution provider of such diverse products as technical ceramic extrusion dies and equipment, automated packaging systems and concrete roof tile plants and equipment. Braun's main manufacturing plant and headquarters in Friedrichshafen, Germany covers over 10,000 square meters and employs over 200 highly skilled people. Our wide spectrum of products are built using the most modern technology and engineering systems available.

Josef Braun's dream of building a global enterprise has become a reality as Braun continues to expand globally with the introduction of our new production plant in North Carolina, United States.
