Stiff Extrusion Dies
Under the Braun Stiff Extrusion Unit (SVP 50C) it is possible to produce stiff extruded bricks with a coring of approximately 40% without loss on output rate, quality or strength. The water contingent in the clay material is between 12-16%. One of the big advantages of the stiff extrusion technology is that you can press the clay stiffly, so that you don't need an expensive dryer and you can place the tiles directly on the oven wagon.
Other advantages of the SVP 50C include:
- 1. Improved column flow and brick surface quality.
- 2. Even column density.
- 3. Lower maintenance costs.
- 4. Less power consumption at the extruder.
- 5. Optimized 6-point oiling for reduced friction.
- 6. Less oil consumption by 6-point oiling (5 liter/hr).
- 7. Long service life of the wear parts.
- 8. Self-centering core bar (multi-perforated bricks).
- 9. Higher production rate.
